A-League: Round 26 Preview

After defeating Central Coast Mariners 2-1 in round 25, Melbourne Victory will travel to Adelaide to take on rivals, Adelaide United.

Adelaide are coming off a 0-0 draw in Melbourne against Victory’s cross-town rivals, Melbourne City.

With both teams having secured a spot in the A-League finals, this match will prove to be a momentum builder towards the post season.

This will be Victory and Adelaide’s third meeting of the season. The first game saw Victory win 2-0 at Marvel Stadium. A game in which star striking pair Barbarouses and Toivonen provided the goals.

The second game saw Adelaide defeat Victory 2-0 at Hindmarsh Stadium, with goals to Craig Goodwin and Ken Ilso!
