A-League: Victory and Mariners play out a draw in Geelong

Melbourne Victory welcomed their two new recruits against Central Coast Mariners, Dino Djulbic who started at centre back and Terry Antonis who came off the bench.

It was a dominant first half from Melbourne Victory who created two great chances through Barbarouses and Berisha to take the lead, however some great defending and the woodwork saw the score level at half time.

It took Berisha only 4 minutes after half time to hit the mark and send Melbourne Victory up 1-0 after a fantastic solo effort.

Despite Victory dominating the chances, Central Coast drew level in the 71st minute through a goal from Blake Powell.

Even though both teams had great chances, neither could find the back of the net and the score remained 1-1.
