W-League: Sydney FC too strong for Victory
It was an uphill battle for Melbourne Victory as they conceded after only 4 minutes to rivals Sydney FC.
The task was made even harder when Sydney struck again in the 30th minute as Logarzo found the top right corner with a sweet strike of the ball.
Victory came out in the second half the better team and hit one back through a Lia Privetelli header as she was left unmarked from a corner.
Dowie continued to pressure the Sydney goal, however some fantastic saves from the goalkeeper ensured the score remained 2-1 to Sydney.
Victory’s final game of the season is next weekend to Adelaide United at the Marden Sports Complex in Adelaide.
